How to make Haryali Mutton Karahi (Green Mutton) Recipe


  • Mutton/lamb meat 1/2 kg (small pieces)
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Onion 1/2 cup (fried)
  • Green chilies 3 (sliced)
  • Mint leaves 1/4 cup
  • Fresh coriander leaves 1/4 cup (chopped)
  • Green onion 1/4 cup (sliced)
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1/4 tsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Whole green chilies 2

Cooking Directions

  1. Wash the meat. Add meat, salt and red chili powder in a cooking pan and cooked it on slow heat. Don't add water

  2. Now blend fried onion, green chilies sliced, green coriander, mint, green onion and yogurt together.

  3. When meat own water dries. Add blend mixture in meat.

  4. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, coriander powder, and oil.

  5. Cooked it on low heat until meat tender and oil separately.

  6. Now add whole green chilies and simmer for 10 minutes on low heat. Serve hot.
